Ms. Lynch focuses her practice in the field of bankruptcy law and represents trustees, fiduciaries, and debtors in Chapter 7, 11 and 13 bankruptcy cases. She also represents creditors in Chapter 7, 11 and 13 bankruptcy cases.

Ms. Lynch has successfully represented clients in Chapter 11 corporate cases involving real estate, trucking, manufacturing, retailing and internet services industry. She has also represented individuals in Chapter 11 cases, enabling them to retain their assets, including their homes and businesses. In many of these cases, Ms. Lynch resolved complicated lien issues, resulting in the client’s successful reorganization.

Ms. Lynch has significant experience in representing Chapter 7 trustees and her services are frequently sought out by panel trustees for representation in difficult cases.  Ms. Lynch represented the Chapter 7 trustee in Entertainment Publications, LLC.  With the assistance of Ms. Lynch, the trustee operated Entertainment Publications, LLC until its sale, resulting in payment in full to secured creditors and the retention of almost 270 jobs.

Ms. Lynch notably represented the Chapter 7 trustee of The Russ Companies, Inc. With her guidance, the trustee liquidated millions of dollars of inventory and other equipment and satisfied more than $13.5 million in secured debt. Similarly, she represented the Chapter 7 Trustee of Calypso St. Barth, Inc. in the liquidation of inventory located in retail stores throughout the United States and satisfied approximately $2.5 million in secured debt. In this case, through her efforts, outstanding wage, employee benefit and tax claims were paid in full.

Recently, in two separate cases, Ms. Lynch identified and prosecuted claims against insiders who breached their fiduciary duty, resulting in settlements of $3.7 and $3.3 million.

Ms. Lynch also litigates complex cases involving real estate disputes, fraudulent conveyance matters, investments and other recoverable assets, matrimonial disputes in bankruptcy and consumer issues.

Ms. Lynch has also acted as a fiduciary in various assignments for the benefit of creditors. Through her efforts, the secured creditors were paid in full and distributions were made to general creditors.

Ms. Lynch served on the Board of Directors of International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation and was a member of the Lawyers Advisory Committee for the District of New Jersey Bankruptcy Court.
