Charles M. Forman Recognized by Chambers in 2026

The recognition reflects a practice focused on bankruptcy, restructuring, and insolvency matters, including Chapter 11 reorganizations, post-confirmation fiduciary appointments, and litigation arising from bankruptcy proceedings.
Mr. Forman has served as Chapter 11 Plan Administrator, Liquidating Trustee, and Trustee in matters involving businesses and organizations across a wide range of industries. Representative matters have included serving as Plan Administrator for Lexus of Englewood; serving as Liquidating Trustee for Barnert Hospital; representing miR Scientific, a company in the cancer testing field, as a reorganized Chapter 11 debtor; and being Trustee for Linen n’ Things, Russ Berrie Toys and N.J. Affordable Homes.
A nationally recognized leader in the bankruptcy field, Mr. Forman has overseen more than 30,000 bankruptcy cases as a Trustee appointed under the United States Bankruptcy Code and has served as Chapter 11 Plan Administrator and Liquidating Trustee in numerous complex matters.
